Ira Singhal is the first physically disable person to secure 1st rank in IAS.Ira Singhal hails from Delhi.She has done her B.Tech and M.B.A.She is currently working as IRS officer.She was selected as IRS office in her first attempt in 2010.But her never ending efforts to become an IAS officer made her set a new record in the history of UPSC."I want to become an IAS officer.I want to do something for the benefit of physically handicapped people"she said.Her success has surely inspired many and shut the mouths of those who look down at physically disabled persons.Hearty congratulations Ira Singhal.....
