2018's Resolution: BE MORE AWESOME THAN LAST YEAR :) :) :).

Hey there! 2018 has arrived and this is my first post of this year. Firstly, I would like to thank everyone by name,for their immense support and encouragement in the development of this blog and its 5000+ viewers.  I really hope you would keep encouraging me in the same way this year too. 2017 had been a great year for me and it was a learning experience. There were several hurdles and times when I completely lost myself , but thanks to my friends who made me stronger and bolder. Thanks to that friend who told me to be myself  at the bus stop and made me realise that I was at the verge of losing myself on the last day of the year,31st December. I hope this New year brings new experiences, new thoughts, new achievements and new hopes to you and me and take us one more step, no no no, several steps forward in our life. Wish you a very happy new year.

A trip to Tatipudi Reservoir: Rejuvenating Experience

Tatipudi Reservior is a well known water reservoir which is located on River Gothsani, in Vijayanagaram. Recently, I visited this particular reservoir with my friends and I felt it as a great place to hang around. I would like to grab this opportunity to write about our experience at the reservoir and share some interesting facts about it. Tatipudi reservoir is 23 km away from Vijyanagaram and it supplies water to Visakhapatnam city. The reservoir was a 1.30 hrs journey via bus from visakhapatnam and bus journeys are always the best choice when you have your folks to hang around with.

We had to catch the local autos as we missed the one and only local bus that drops us at the reservoir from Vijayanagaram. We had to walk up the hill which was a tedious task but the sight of the reservoir stirred our minds and we were stimulated. When we reached the centre of the reservoir there was water all round and green mountains were bathing in the river water, blocking our sight of infinity. Boating facility was also available but there wasn't any driver at the time when we reached the spot. We also enjoyed the sight of a unique bird travelling in water with its platypus feet though I didn't know its name. There were ice cream and Guava stalls to fill our appetite which satisfied our little tummies. I even felt Tatipudi reservoir is a great place to click pictures and its scenic beauty enthralled me.

Overall,  I feel Tatipudi reservoir is great place to chill out with friends, especially for all vizagites and it would be a short and sweet memory  in everyone's life.

I was reading today's newspaper and an article "Notes to an offline self" crossed my eyes. It was all about logging out of Facebook, deactivating Instagram and all such apps. At first, I felt it tiresome but what shocked me was that famous film stars like Aishwarya Rai and Ranbir Kapoor too aren't on social media. Then I continued exploring the article and here I am to share it with you. Most of us are addicted to gadgets, getting attached to the virtual world and don't realize that we are missing the reality happening around us, right now. The social media is turning humanity less social. We barely call our friends for wishing them on their birthdays!. We simply send a Whatsapp message and feel satisfied. We barely speak with our parents about whats going in our life. But, hold on!... The other side of the coin is that if we get detached from the social media how will we be up-to-date with the present technology. The article has a solution for this too! The author suggests that we must know to balance cautiously. Anything and everything can be used constructively or destructively. Technology is a boon but anything in excess is a ban. He also suggests that we must try to have a gadget-free day once in a week. It helps us to stay connected with whom we are. I felt yeah it's not a bad idea and let's give it a try. Today morning I went for a morning jog with the members of sports club of our college. After a tedious walk out ( workout), all of us were tired burning our calories. Then we noticed a number of stalls along the  RK beach road of Vizag. Many people were drinking Ragi malt, lemon juice and buttermilk in these stalls. As none of us ever tasted lemon juice, it sounded interesting to us and we immediately ordered it. The taste of lemon juice was above appealing. Then I happened to see its health benefits and was shocked. And so I am here to share the zing zing amazing benefits of Lemon tea.

The Bermuda Triangle : Mystery of the Missing...

The Bermuda Triangle also known as Devil's Triangle, is a section of North Atlantic Ocean roughly bounded by Bermuda, Miami and Puerto Rico.It is known as a mysterious place because many of the planes and ships have been disappeared over this region. The Bermuda Triangle lore includes such stories as that of Flight 19, a group of 5 U.S. torpedo bombers that vanished in the Triangle in 1945. Also, a rescue plane sent to look for them also disappeared. Other stories include the mystery of USS Cyclops, resulting in the largest non-combat loss of life in U.S. Navy’s history. The ship with a crew of 309 went missing in 1918. Even as recently as 2015, El Faro, a cargo ship with 33 on board vanished in the area.

The list goes on and as many as 75 planes and hundreds of ships were demised in the Bermuda Triangle.Solving this mystery of demise, recently meteorologists proposed a theory stating the reason for this disappearance are the hexagonal clouds which created 170 mph air bombs full of wind which are responsible for sinking the ships and downing the planes.

The Chandipur sea located in Balasore District Odisha is known for it's rare phenomenon of disappearing twice a day. Yes, the sea vanishes twice a day and hence, known as the Hide and Seek Sea. This happens because the sea water recedes (goes back) up to 2-5 kilometers during the ebb tide and comes back to the shore during the high tide.

 Due to this strange phenomenon the sea appears as if it has been disappeared when viewed from the shore. Accordingly, we can actually ride a bicycle or walk into the sea. So, if we are at the beach during ebb  we can observe the sea water receding massively and then coming back during the high tide which appears like a hide and seek game.  This is an amazing place to be traveled by everyone of us. 

Is the color of Red Sea really red?....

Have you ever noticed the color of Red Sea? Does it appear red? Or does it it appear like any other sea?. Let's check it out now!. Red sea is a sea water inlet lying between Asia and Africa. It is occasionally known as Erythraean Sea. The name Red Sea signifies seasonal blooms, red-colored Trichodesmium Erythraeum near the water's surface. These blooms upon dying turn the blue-green water occasionally into reddish brown.

This color is not intense and is observed to vary along the expansive body of water. On the other hand, a theory favored by some scholars says that the name red refers to the direction South same as the name black in the Black Sea refers North.

The deadliest Mass Gun Shooting in Modern U.S History

The worst mass gun shooting attack occurred in  Las Vegas, the city entitled as "The Entertainment Capital of the World". Las Vegas is the 28th most populated country in the United States and is known for  gambling, shopping, entertainment and night life. This nightmare occurred at an outdoor music festival in Las Vegas. Later, it was discovered that an 64 year old man armed with multiple machine guns was responsible for slaughtering around 59 people, injuring more than 500 people.

The barrage of gunfire from 32nd floor window of Mandala Bay hotel over a crowd of 22,000 people lasted up to several minutes,created pandemonium.Over 500 people were injured, some due to gunfire while the rest due to trampling of the crowd. The police identified the gunman as Stephen Paddock. The police added that  they believe that Stephen attacked  alone but they don't know the reason behind his attack. On the other side ISIS claims that they are responsible for the massacre, while the U.D cut down their claim as there is no evidence. 

Stephen Hawking

Stephen Hawking is the most inspiring scientist of the 21st century. Even though his whole body except his cheek bone went numb, he continues to create wonders in the field of cosmology. This proves that man any can do any thing with his will power. Let's have a quick view on Stephen Hawking's life history.
Hawking was born on 8 January,1942, in Oxford,England. He wanted to pursue Mathematics but since Mathamatics wasn't available at his University he studied Physics. After three years, Hawking was awarded first class honors degree in Life Sciences. He then went to Cambridge for doing research in field of cosmology.

 He was diagonised with ALS a form of Motor Neuron Disease, shortly after his 21st birthday. The disease slowly weakened his upper and lower motor neuron system. Due to this, he soon became wheelchair bounded and dependent on computerised voice system for communication. Hawking fought back all these odds and worked on basic laws which govern the universe. His many publications include The Large Scale Structure of Space time with G F R Ellis, General Relativity: An Einstein Centenary Survey, with W Israel, and 300 Years of Gravity, with W Israel. Among the popular books Stephen Hawking has published are his best seller A Brief History of Time, Black Holes and Baby Universes and Other Essays, The Universe in a Nutshell, The Grand Design and My Brief History.Professor Hawking has twelve honorary degrees. He was awarded the CBE in 1982, and was made a Companion of Honor in 1989. He is the recipient of many awards, medals and prizes, is a Fellow of The Royal Society and a Member of the US National Academy of Sciences.

Watch army of robots sorting packages in China

The Shentong Express (STO) factory in Tianjin(China) is known to be the largest fully automated sorting plant in the deliver industry.The robots are sorting out packages faster than you can can the word delivery. These robots are self recharging, i.e. they work round the clock.The robots can carry their packages away to different areas across the sorting center, and deposit them unto underground chutes.

All packages reach their destinations within three and a half hours. We need hundred experienced workers to do the same job at the same time. The robots work across a two thousand square meter area and between them, they generate at least 300 billion route combinations which requires a huge amount of calculations at the back end. The company also has a warehouse in the Chineese city of Hangzhou, where little orange robots do exactly the same work. Different types of US VISA

Visa is derived from a latin phrase which refers to an international travel document. Visa is required whenever we want to travel to a foreign country. The United States of America issues various kinds of visas for various purposes.I am mentioning the most common types of visas offered by USA.
1. Tourist or Business visa
 Under this category, we have
B1 visa  - for business associates, persons attending scientific or educational conventions, contractors.
B2 visa -  for tourism or medical treatment purpose.
2. Work Visa
Work visas are issued to people for desire to work in USA for a temporary period. Some of the work visas are explained below.
H1-B -For  Special occupation and the employee must file the documents related to your contract.
H2-A- For agriculture workers to work in USA on temporary basis as US workers are not available.(Indians are not eligible for this visa)
Type O- For persons with extra ordinary skills  and achievements in fields of science, art, sports etc.
Type P- atheletes and artists to came to perform in USA
3. Student Visa
F1 visa- issued to students who are attending secondary education in school with working hours more than 18 hours a week.
M1 visa-  issued to people who are planning non- academic education, vocational courses.
                         Apart from these, we have media and journalist visa, domestic employee visa and religious worker visaS.

Narendra Modi

The 15th Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi was born on 17th September,1950.He was a prominent leader of Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP).He served as the Chief Minister of Gujarat from 2001 to 2014.He strived for the socio and economic development of Gujarat.He was the third out of six children of Damodardas Mulchand.As a child,he helped his father in selling tea at Vadnagar railway station.Later he started a tea stall along with his brother.He was an average student with excellent rhetoric skills.

His keen interest towards the society drove him into  Indian National Politics,thus making him the Chief Minister of Gujarat and the Prime Minister og India.As a Prime Minister of India he focussed on reforming and modernising India by organising various activities like Swaach Bharat.We are proud to have a Prime Minister like Narendra Modi.

Bill Gates

The wealthiest man of the world Bill Gates was born on October 28,1955 to William H. Gates and Mary Maxewell Gates.He is known as one of the best entrepreneur of  the personal computer revolution.He is an American business magnate,philanthropist.Bill Gates and Paul Allen co-founded Microsoft in 1975 which became the world's largest PC software company.

He married Melinda Gates in 1994 and has three children.He and his wife are active participants of Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation donating large amounts of money for social charity.In 2015,the Indian Government awarded the Padma Bhushan to Bill and Melinda Gates for their charitable contribution towards the society.It is an honour for everyone to have a person like Bill Gates.

Steve Jobs

The co-founder,chairman and CEO of Apple Steve Jobs was was on February 24,1955 at San Francisco in California.He is known as the pioneer of computer revolution along with Steve Wozniak.He is an American information Technology entrepreneur and inventor.He is the largest share holder of Pixar Animation Studio.

After a long power struggle Steve was forced out of Apple.After leaving Apple Steve  founded NeXT which Apple later purchased,allowing Steve Jobs to become the CEO of Apple.Jobs was diagonised with a pancreatic neuro endocrine tumour in 2003 and died of respiratory arrest related to tumour on October 5,2011.

Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Elliot Zuckerberg is the CEO,Chief Executive and Co founder of the famous social networking site Facebook.His personal wealth as per December 2015 is estimated to be $46 billion.He actually started a small networking site called "Face smash"with his friends at Harvard University.The site soon became popular in other parts of the country as Facebook.In 2007. at an age of 23,Zuckerberg became the World's Youngest Billionaire.In 2010,

TIME named him among the World's 100 Wealthiest persons as a part of  The Person of the Year distinction. Zukerberg was born on May 14,1984.He got married to Priscilla Chan in 2012 and have a daughter now.Together with his wife Priscilla,Zuckerberg announced that they would give majority of their wealth after their course of lives to "advancing human potential and promoting equality".

SATYA NADELLA.THE CEO OF MICROSOFT

Satya Nadella is an Indian-Amercian businessman who came from a telugu speaking family of Hyderabad,Andhra Pradesh.His father was an IAS officer.he did his schooling at Hyderabad Public School.He did his electrical engineering from Manipal University.Later on did his M.S in Computer Science at U.S.He has been rendering his services at Microsoft since 1992.

                                              His wife is Anupama Nadella.They are blessed with three children,two daughters and a son.His present salary is around 5,167,664,602.00 rupees .We are proud to have such a great businesman

SUNDARARAJAN PICHAI-THE CEO OF GOOGLE

Sundararajan Pichai is one of the businessmen whom India must be proud of.Commonly known as Pichai,he was born and brought up in Tamil Nadu.He was an alumnus of IIT Kharagpur.He was an an all time topper in his department of metallurgy.He has been rendering his services at google since 2004.He was responsible for many of google's developments.Pichai played a key role in launching Google chrome,android.His ideas made the common people's lift much more comfortable.

                                        Pichai's wife is Anjali and they are blessed with a daughter and son.Pichai himself told that his wofe Anjali played a key role in his success.His present salary is around 302 crores.India is proud to have a businessman like Sundararajan Pichai

INDEPENDENCE DAY!..

Today India celebrates its 69th independence day.After a long strive and sacrifices of many great people India achieved its freedom on 15th August 1947 at midnight
Prime minister Narendra Modi wished the nation on the occasion of Independence day and hosted the National Flag at Red Fort,New Delhi.

India must be proud of its freedom fighters and strive hard for achieving more success and fame.We all must be proud of being  Indians.I am proud to be an Indian.Wishing  all the Indians "A VERY HAPPY INDEPENCE DAY...."

THE MISSILE MAN OF INDIA

Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam is a man of great soul.Born on 15 october 1931,Kamal was brought up in Rameshwaram,Tamil Nadu.He worked as an aero scientist at ISRO.He rendered his services as the President of India during the years 2002-2007.He was rewarded with many awards like Padma Bhushan,Padma Vibhushan.

He services to the country are priceless.He was a great author and speaker.He speeches were of great inspiration to the youth all over the world.His famous books like Ignited Minds,Target 3Billon are golden gifts to the youth.He used to attend to at least one seminar very week.He died while delivering a lecture on "Creating a livable Planet Earth" at Shillong,Meghalaya,India.He services to the country are ultimate and his death is great loss to the nation.

Ira Singhal is the first physically disable person to secure 1st rank in IAS.Ira Singhal hails from Delhi.She has done her B.Tech and M.B.A.She is currently working as IRS officer.She was selected as IRS office in her first attempt in 2010.But her never ending efforts to become an IAS officer made her set a new record in the history of UPSC."I want to become an IAS officer.I want to do something for the benefit of physically handicapped people"she said.Her  success has surely inspired many and shut the mouths of those who look down at physically disabled persons.Hearty congratulations Ira Singhal.....
