Time Management Skills

"Time and Tide wait for none".This a golden saying known by all of us. Often, in life we say we are running out of time for many activities like exercising or catching up with friends, etc. But we must understand that everyone has time to do everything but the problem arises with time management. The difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is only the way they manage their time. Everyone get the same 24 hours in a day but the way we use those 24 hours makes a difference. In order to be successful at your work or at your studies, you need to manage time efficiently. Here are certain tips which I feel you must remember for managing your time.

1. Plan a schedule.
As we know "  A goal without a plan is just a wish" , planning is very important in time management. Take out a piece of paper and list out all the tasks you need to accomplish in that particular day. Prioritize them. Allot time slots for each task and try to implement it accordingly. Though you may not be able to accomplish them completely in the first two days, persistency makes it achievable.
2. Do NOT Procrastinate.
Procrastination is the villain of our life. Postponing the tasks not only makes us lazy but also spoils our schedule. Once we are out of our track we lose confidence and persistence. This leads to a break in our schedule.
3. Analyse yourself.
This is very important step. In our daily routine, we spend so much time on so many things. But  how much time do we spend analyzing our self? . If it is very little, then our  career is at stake. We must spend at least 15 mins analyzing our self every night . We must take a quick review of how we spent the day. Was it productive? Did I go along with my schedule? What tasks I couldn't do? How to rectify them? After getting answering for all these questions, we must try to rectify them.
By following these three simple tips, I hope you will improve your time management skills and get time to do new things.

Watch army of robots sorting packages in China

The Shentong Express (STO) factory in Tianjin(China) is known to be the largest fully automated sorting plant in the deliver industry. The robots are sorting out packages faster than you can can the word delivery. These robots are self recharging, i.e. they work round the clock. The robots can carry their packages away to different areas across the sorting center, and deposit them unto underground chutes.

All packages reach their destinations within three and a half hours. We need hundred experienced workers to do the same job at the same time. The robots work across a two thousand square meter area and between them, they generate at least 300 billion route combinations which requires a huge amount of calculations at the back end. The company also has a warehouse in the Chineese city of Hangzhou, where little orange robots do exactly the same work. The link for video showing an army of tiny little yellow robots sorting out packages at STO is provided below.

How to stay optimistic in life?

We often feel alone and life sucks. But do anyone realize why do we feel so?. It all depends on our mindset and our vision of life. If we are positive and optimistic about life, our horizon expands. Our horizon expands in terms of relations and happiness. So, what must we do in order to stay optimistic and stay happy. how to handle the situations when we feel pissed off with life. Here are some ways through which I try to stay positive in my life. I hope these will be helpful to you all also.
1. Create a positive environment
This is the first and foremost thing we have to do in order to stay happy in life. We must avoid saying and listening to negative thoughts. People who are surrounded with persons who discourage them are more likely to become pessimistic. Avoid people who tell you can't do or its impossible to be done. You must try to encourage and motivate people positively and you will definitely find happiness in their achievement.
2.Try to get socialized
Often when we get depressed, we inactivate ourselves from our social life. This is a blunder. We must try to mix with friends around us when we feel depressed because only they can help you to get out of your depression.
3. Recite a mantra within yourself
Choose a good one liner and recite it like a mantra whenever you feel down. One lines like "Be the change you want to see in the world" or "Everything happens for our own good" Or" It's better to lit a candle than curse the darkness" would be helpful.
4.Maintain a Journal.
Try to list out the reasons what are making you feel sad in a book or journal. Try to analyse these reasons and check if they are valid reasons or are they too silly to get yourself deprived of your happiness.
5. Don't define your happiness by your environment
This is most important and the most difficult thing to overcome. We often give the key of our happiness to others hands. If they speak nicely with us, we would be happy, else no. If they praise us, we would be happy. Here we must understand that we are giving the control of our happiness to others which is very foolish. I strongly feel the control of our life must be in our hands only.
6.Exercise daily
Try to mediate or exercise everyday as these will not only keep us fit but also by doing these activities we give time for our self, for the well being our body. To make the world love you, you must first start loving yourself kada!...
7. Try to help others.
When we help others, the smile which we bring on their face gives us euphoria of life. This will boost your positivety. So, figure out what you have and share it with others generously.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE(MAD)

One of the most difficult questions to answer is to define what life is. Everyone of us have our own definition of life. All of us desire to design our life in our own style. Some want to get settled in life as early as possible while others want to enjoy living just at that moment. I was that kind of girl who wanted to seek a job as early as possible and get settled in my life. But as days are passing by I am understanding what life is.
The credit for my realization is my College and my friends. They taught me how to handle my life, my relations and most importantly my mood swings. I started seeing life in a new vision. I understood now that life is not about making a living, it is all about making a DIFFERENCE. Be aware if you are getting caught in the rat race, as I got caught up. You are right if you are not going in the path where 90% of the people are going. You are right if your views are different from others. You are right if you stand out of the crowd. You are defining your life correctly if you are not like the 90%. After all, at the end of the day before we sleep, we must be the reason for someone's smile and that defines life.

Crazy Gift Ideas for Birthdays....

Hey bloggers!.We all give and receive presents on many occasions in our life and we all love to do so. It was my best friend's birthday recently and it was my turn to present a gift. I am writing this post to share my encounters in the process of buying gift to my bae, some turned out as sugar while rest turned out to be salt but all were worth remembering.
As we all know birthdays are inevitable and it happened to be her 20th birthday. All I knew was she like creative, useful and simple presents. I had many ideas as to what to give her. I will list out some of my crazy birthday ideas below.
1. Twin T-shirts for my bestie and me.
2. White board and marker.(as she likes teaching and wants to improve her teaching skills.)
3. Silver ring and a bracelet.
4. Decorate her room with Helium balloons and hang cards at the end of balloons.
5. A creative birthday card.
6. A wallet.
7. A diary (though she doesn't like writing, I felt like giving as I love writing...)
8. Personalised phone case
As I was murkier in my ideas, I couldn't decide as to which gift to give my bestie. Months became weeks and weeks became days but I was still in the same dilemma. It happened to be four days from her birthday and I was still the same. Finally, I brought a personalised charms bracelet for her and wrote some letters and piled them in a bottled and gifted her.

Though I was not satisfied with the gifts I gave her, she turned out to be very happy with my gifts. When I told her how I messed everything due to confusion, she was like its not the gift you  that matters more but its the love with which you give that really matters. At that moment, I felt really blessed to have a friend like her.
So, all of you don't get confused as to what to gift your loving ones. It's not the gifts that matter, it's the love that matters. Your besties will definitely like whatever you give them. Do share the experiences you had when you were buying  gifts for your loving ones in the comments section.
