Inner thought

Greed... Selfishness... It is a part of every human.. Let's accept it... But just remember that there is a limit for every thing.. God grants us every thing.. literally everything we ask for... Sooner or later.. But what's important is that wil we be in a position just to enjoy our gifts when provided..... We never know what we lose the next moment.. So folks.. just live the moment  with the prized possessions you already have... God knows what you deserve and when to give you.. He actually knows better than you😅

You are the HERO of your story!....

Today, I was speaking to a study buddy who was a recent acquaintance....While I was pouring out my rollercoaster career at him, I started realising how different my life was. I always felt why I hadn't have a clear mindset where I knew what perfectly suits me and choose wisely from options laid. I always felt I messed up my career to the extent possible. But little did I realise that experting is the gist of life. Today I started realising the worth of taking steps differently... good or bad... right or wrong... but just following our heart. Life is actually lived when we are not influenced by anyone but ourselves. We have to take choices not because the crowd is doing but because you want to do it!... Eventually even if the choices turn out to be a really bad, it atleast remains as our choices.

We grow not by age but by the opportunities we explore, by the lessons we learn from our experiments with life. I completely agree that it is always tougher to explore a entirely new path than to walk on a road already discovered and lit with flowers. But believe in yourself!. LIFE is worth the exploration...

At the end of the day, you are the HERO of your own story and your story must be a blend of highs and lows, rights and wrongs, good and bad and above everything your story must simply be about YOU!.

Clouds and Silver linings

Every cloud has a silver lining and same is the case with the clouds of my life. There are times where I almost gave up and was despaired that nothing really works out in my way but little did I realise that God has been building a beautifully civilised road for me instead of crooked road I was dreaming of constructing. Despite of errors which I have committed right from  not participating in school captaincy elections to not aiming high enough in gate exam and neglecting a friend in need, life proved to be more beautiful with errors.

Little did I realise that all the errors made my life more beautiful rather than more perfect. I became more practical and may be growing stronger . This morning while I was looking at the clouds in the sky  was I able to connect the dots of my life. Every cloud has a silver lining and this silver lining indicate that there is sunshine right behind the cloud of problems.
Just believe in yourself and move ahead and definitely you will enjoy the sunshine sooner or later!.

My dream Job

It’s 11.40pm on December 31st,2018.

While the whole world is excited to celebrate the New Year, I kept my eyes glued to my HP laptop screen as only 20  minutes were left to apply for my dream job. A job upon which I had no opinion till today evening turned out to be my dream job. I cursed myself for realizing it so late. It all changed because of the man who sat beside me while I was returning to my hometown this evening. This man’s eyes were filled confidence and he carried a bag on which it was embossed THE INDIAN ARMY. Coming from a conservative family, my parents always encouraged me to apply for safe earning jobs like banks and railways and suggested me to avoid the police and the army. I always wanted to ask someone why people still go crazy about Army and Police jobs when they can get safe bank jobs and lead a peacefully life. Unable to resist myself I asked this young soldier what was running in my mind. He looked as if it was the dumbest question to ask and answered, ”It is right that it takes many things when we are in Army - we can’t spend time with family, friends and most importantly kids. We won’t even know whether we will be alive tomorrow or not!. But the Army gives many more things which soothen the soldiers. We feel happy that the whole country is sleeping peacefully at night because we are wide awake protecting the country at the border. Each day is a new life for us and battles are like celebrations. Moreover, when a soldier dies his story will not leave the world with his body but will remain in the country’s history. What more does a person need?”. The beep sound interrupted my thoughts and a dialogue box popped up on the screen “Application successfully submitted” and a smile flashed across my face.

Rome is not built in a day!

This is a renowned proverb which speaks equally about hardwork and patience. The fathom of this saying is that miracles are hard to happen and impossible to achieve without hard work. It is doltish to expect results instantaneously and it surely depicts our immaturity. This is applicable to everyone, right from a toddler to a senate, Often in life, we get vexed after endeavour for a goal once or twice. We start blaming anything and everything around us. We fail to understand that things 'work out' for people who people who 'work hard'.

We must work with our fullest potential and wait for the results patiently. All said and done, patience is the key to success. Hence, one must do their best and stop expecting expeditious results. Understand that sooner or longer our fruit of hard work will  reap and we will definitely enjoy its taste.

MUTTON CURRY.. First try!..

Hey there!. Today I tried mutton recipe for the first and I felt it quite tasty. So, I thought why not share this recipe with you. I would just brief the process of preparation of curry since I am not a kitchen blog expert.
Recipe
Wash mutton and add chilli powder, salt and garam masala and tenderise it for 30 minutes. Then place it in a cooker and simmer it for 1-2 vessels. Now take a pan- add oil, onions, green chillis, ginger garlic paste(prepare at home for best results). Add these contents with a gap of 2 minutes and constantly fry them. Now add chilli powder, masala and salt and mix it properly and place the lid for 2 minutes. Now add the boiled mutton along with it's juice which is obtained due to boiling. Check the taste and let it cook for 5 more minutes and serve it hot.

This was the procedure I followed and people who like tangy flavour may also add tomato. Hope you felt the process easy and do try it once as it is easy and simple.

A trip to Tatipudi Reservoir: Rejuvenating Experience

Tatipudi Reservior is a well known water reservoir which is located on River Gothsani, in Vijayanagaram. Recently, I visited this particular reservoir with my friends and I felt it as a great place to hang around. I would like to grab this opportunity to write about our experience at the reservoir and share some interesting facts about it. Tatipudi reservoir is 23 km away from Vijyanagaram and it supplies water to Visakhapatnam city. The reservoir was a 1.30 hrs journey via bus from visakhapatnam and bus journeys are always the best choice when you have your folks to hang around with.

We had to catch the local autos as we missed the one and only local bus that drops us at the reservoir from Vijayanagaram. We had to walk up the hill which was a tedious task but the sight of the reservoir stirred our minds and we were stimulated. When we reached the centre of the reservoir there was water all round and green mountains were bathing in the river water, blocking our sight of infinity. Boating facility was also available but there wasn't any driver at the time when we reached the spot. We also enjoyed the sight of a unique bird travelling in water with its platypus feet though I didn't know its name. There were ice cream and Guava stalls to fill our appetite which satisfied our little tummies. I even felt Tatipudi reservoir is a great place to click pictures and its scenic beauty enthralled me.

Overall,  I feel Tatipudi reservoir is great place to chill out with friends, especially for all vizagites and it would be a short and sweet memory  in everyone's life.

Father's advice

Often we get vexed with our life as a new problem arrives as soon as an old problem departures from our life. We get trapped in this cycle of problem sloving and feel life is really not going well with us. Once, a 20 year old daughter was in the same situation and she approached her father and expressed her feelings. Her father who was a chef, took her to kitchen and started boiling potatoes, eggs and coffee beans in three different vessels. Though the daughter didn't understand what her father was up to, she waited patiently. After 20 minutes, the father turned the stove off and placed the three vessels in front of his daughter. He asked " What do you see in these vessels?". The daughter touched each content and told" I see hard potatoes, a boiled egg and water flavoured with coffee beans". The father replied " The potatoes, egg and coffee beans under went the same suffering of boiling for 20 minutes but each one reacted differently. The potatoes which were hard before boiling became soft and weak after boiling. The egg which was brittle, became harder and stronger after boiling. However the coffee beans are unique. When they under went boiling, they changed the water and built something new." Placing his hand around his daughter shoulder he said" Who are you?. When suffering knocks your door, are you a potato, egg or a coffee bean?"
Moral: In life, things keep changing around us, the only thing that matters is what happens within us.Just think who you are- a potato, egg or a coffee bean!.

Tips to get rid of "annoying dandruff "

Most of us get annoyed by the disgusting looking flakes on our shoulders. Here is a briefing of the causes of the dandruff flakes and simple yet effective home remedies to get over it.
Causes of dandruff
Researchers say that the primary cause of dandruff is due to the growth of a fungus called Malassezia on our scalp which results in shedding of the scalp.Other causes of dandruff are improper and irregular brushing of hair, infrequent shampooing, improper diet and stress.
Simple yet effective remedies
1.Lemon and coconut oil
Mix one part of lemon juice with five parts of coconut oil and apply this mixture gently on to your scalp and rinse it with a mild shampoo.
Why it works?
One of the primary reason for dandruff is imbalance in pH levels of the scalp. The acidity of lemon juice helps in balancing the pH levels of the scalp, thereby keeping dandruff at bay.
2.Aloe Vera
Apply fresh aloe vera gel which is directly extracted from the plant and apply it onto your scalp.Leave it for about 15 minutes and rinse using a mild shampoo.
Why it works?
Aloe vera gel is known for its anti bacterial and fungicidal properties and deters the growth of dandruff fungi.

3.Coconut oil
Simply wash your hair with shampoo  and allow it to dry. Do not use a conditioner. Apply coconut oil directly to your scalp and it for 15-20 mins. Wash your hair thoroughly with water.
Why it works?
Coconut oil penetrates deep into the epidermis and works from inside. It contains medium chain fatty acids, which have regenerative properties that can help in treating dandruff.
4.Lemon and yogurt
Squeeze a half cut lemon into a bowl of yogurt and apply this mixture to your hair using the lemon peel. Leave the mixture for about 10 minutes and wash your hair with shampoo.
Why does it work?
Lemon is rich in citric acid and plays a major role in eliminating dandruff from hair.
5. Healthy diet
Apart from these tips, we have to maintain a proper healthy diet and eat food rich in vitamins and green leafy vegetables and try to get over stressful situations in order have a healthy hair growth.

Master's mind...

One fine day, a mom takes her little son to the concert of a famous pianist. After they were seated, the mom spots an old friend of her's and greets her. In the meanwhile, her little  son gets off the seat and starts exploring the concert hall. He finds a "no admittance" board and out of curiosity he goes towards it. The mom gets panic and starts searching for her little son. Suddenly the doors get parted and the audience get shocked on seeing a little kid on the stage at the piano instead of the famous artist. The kid starts playing "chopsticks" which he has learnt in his piano classes. The audience get frustrated and shout "take the boy away". When the pianist heard the roars of audience on the backstage, he gets onto the stage. Seeing the little boy on the stage, he understands the whole situation. Reaching around the boy, the master began to improvise the counter melody  to 'chopsticks'. Soon the two make an excellent pair and the crowd begins to enjoy the show. Throughout the play the master keeps whispering the little kid to continue playing.
MORAL: Masters can turn an embarrassing situation into a creative experience

Shark and the bait fish

Researchers once conducted an experiment on a shark . In this experiment, they placed a large shark in a huge tank and released bait fish as its prey. The shark immediately attacked the fish and had a splendid meal. Now, the researchers placed a clear, transparent glass and partitioned the tank into two halves. They released the bait fish on one  side while the shark was placed on the other side of the tank. Now as soon as the bait fish crossed the shark's eye, the shark readily moved forward to attack them. But the shark is slammed into the fibre glass and is bounced of. Undeterred , the shark  keeps attacking for every two minutes  but is knocked down everytime. This experiment is repeated on the next day and the shark attacks less vigorously this time. On repeating this experiment over three  more weeks, the researchers observed that the shark gave up attacking altogether. Now the partition was removed but the shark didn't even try to attack the bait fish even though there was nothing to stop it from attacking the bait and the bait fish swam free from harm.
MORAL:Often in life we experience setbacks and failures and eventually give up and stop trying similar to the shark in the experiment. We feel that as we were unsuccessful in the past, we will be unsuccessful in our present also. We fail to see that the barrier which was once stopping us, is now gone and there is 'real barrier' between "where we are" and "where we want to go".

Aishwarya and Rabir aren't active on social media. Read on... To know why!.

I was reading today's newspaper and an article "Notes to an offline self" crossed my eyes. It was all about logging out of Facebook, deactivating Instagram and all such apps. At first, I felt it tiresome but what shocked me was that famous film stars like Aishwarya Rai and Ranbir Kapoor too aren't on social media. Then I continued exploring the article and here I am to share it with you. Most of us are addicted to gadgets, getting attached to the virtual world and don't realize that we are missing the reality happening around us, right now. The social media is turning humanity less social. We barely call our friends for wishing them on their birthdays!. We simply send a Whatsapp message and feel satisfied. We barely speak with our parents about whats going in our life. But, hold on!... The other side of the coin is that if we get detached from the social media how will we be up-to-date with the present technology. The article has a solution for this too! The author suggests that we must know to balance cautiously. Anything and everything can be used constructively or destructively. Technology is a boon but anything in excess is a ban. He also suggests that we must try to have a gadget-free day once in a week. It helps us to stay connected with whom we are. I felt yeah it's not a bad idea and let's give it a try. Hey, a reader there! You too try to have a gadget-free day if you feel it's worthy. Do share your experience in our blog, once done!.

The brightest star!.

Whenever I get depressed, I remember this tiny  anecdote narrated by my friend.Once upon a time there used to be a very bright star. All its  neighbouring stars were envious of its brightness and dare not to go beside this star as they wouldn't appear bright if they stood beside this star. Consequently, our little bright star didn't have any friends and was left alone. Due to this, our star sank into loneliness and got depressed day by day. This depression reduced the star's brightness and soon the star lost its brightness completely. The bright star now turned into a black hole and lost its uniqueness. That day I understood that if something sets us apart from the crowd its better to stay alone rather than trying to impress everyone and lose our speciality. Everyone is unique in their own way and if we try to please everyone ,we will end up pleasing none. Just be yourself and spread your charm.

The Bermuda Triangle : Mystery of the Missing...

The Bermuda Triangle also known as Devil's Triangle, is a section of North Atlantic Ocean roughly bounded by Bermuda, Miami and Puerto Rico.It is known as a mysterious place because many of the planes and ships have been disappeared over this region. The Bermuda Triangle lore includes such stories as that of Flight 19, a group of 5 U.S. torpedo bombers that vanished in the Triangle in 1945. Also, a rescue plane sent to look for them also disappeared. Other stories include the mystery of USS Cyclops, resulting in the largest non-combat loss of life in U.S. Navy’s history. The ship with a crew of 309 went missing in 1918. Even as recently as 2015, El Faro, a cargo ship with 33 on board vanished in the area.

The list goes on and as many as 75 planes and hundreds of ships were demised in the Bermuda Triangle.Solving this mystery of demise, recently meteorologists proposed a theory stating the reason for this disappearance are the hexagonal clouds which created 170 mph air bombs full of wind which are responsible for sinking the ships and downing the planes.

Why must we be happy?

I don't know how many of you readers feel low and alone but I started feeling alone quite frequently nowadays. The reasons for this pathetic situation of mine are as many as stars.  But just now I listened to a lecture and I felt very connected to it. I would like to share the mistakes I did for finding my happiness hoping that you will not repeat them. If you too feel connected with them, do share with me. I often feel  happy when I have people around me. Basically I am afraid to be alone. But life can't be always as we want and I started feeling alone in my college.

But I realised today that we must first enjoy our company to enjoy others company. I learnt that if we don't love ourselves why will others love us! And most  importantly I felt I am trying to impress everyone, ending up depressing myself. Also, I realised that the  biggest reason for us to be happy is because we are alive at this moment and the entire universe is with us helping us in our survival, helping us to achieve our dreams, helping us to feel the touch of everything at this moment. What more must we need to be happy!..

This Sea Plays Hide and Seek with it's Vistors. Check out how!..

The Chandipur sea located in Balasore District Odisha is known for it's rare phenomenon of disappearing twice a day. Yes, the sea vanishes twice a day and hence, known as the Hide and Seek Sea. This happens because the sea water recedes (goes back) up to 2-5 kilometers during the ebb tide and comes back to the shore during the high tide.

Due to this strange phenomenon the sea appears as if it has been disappeared when viewed from the shore. Accordingly, we can actually ride a bicycle or walk into the sea. So, if we are at the beach during ebb  we can observe the sea water receding massively and then coming back during the high tide which appears like a hide and seek game.  This is an amazing place to be traveled by everyone of us.

Is the color of Red Sea really red?....

Have you ever noticed the color of Red Sea? Does it appear red? Or does it it appear like any other sea?. Let's check it out now!. Red sea is a sea water inlet lying between Asia and Africa. It is occasionally known as Erythraean Sea. The name Red Sea signifies seasonal blooms, red-colored Trichodesmium Erythraeum near the water's surface. These blooms upon dying turn the blue-green water occasionally into reddish brown.

This color is not intense and is observed to vary along the expansive body of water. On the other hand, a theory favored by some scholars says that the name red refers to the direction South same as the name black in the Black Sea refers North.

Time Management Skills

"Time and Tide wait for none".This a golden saying known by all of us. Often, in life we say we are running out of time for many activities like exercising or catching up with friends, etc. But we must understand that everyone has time to do everything but the problem arises with time management. The difference between successful people and unsuccessful people is only the way they manage their time. Everyone get the same 24 hours in a day but the way we use those 24 hours makes a difference. In order to be successful at your work or at your studies, you need to manage time efficiently. Here are certain tips which I feel you must remember for managing your time.

1. Plan a schedule.
As we know "  A goal without a plan is just a wish" , planning is very important in time management. Take out a piece of paper and list out all the tasks you need to accomplish in that particular day. Prioritize them. Allot time slots for each task and try to implement it accordingly. Though you may not be able to accomplish them completely in the first two days, persistency makes it achievable.
2. Do NOT Procrastinate.
Procrastination is the villain of our life. Postponing the tasks not only makes us lazy but also spoils our schedule. Once we are out of our track we lose confidence and persistence. This leads to a break in our schedule.
3. Analyse yourself.
This is very important step. In our daily routine, we spend so much time on so many things. But  how much time do we spend analyzing our self? . If it is very little, then our  career is at stake. We must spend at least 15 mins analyzing our self every night . We must take a quick review of how we spent the day. Was it productive? Did I go along with my schedule? What tasks I couldn't do? How to rectify them? After getting answering for all these questions, we must try to rectify them.
By following these three simple tips, I hope you will improve your time management skills and get time to do new things.

Watch army of robots sorting packages in China

The Shentong Express (STO) factory in Tianjin(China) is known to be the largest fully automated sorting plant in the deliver industry. The robots are sorting out packages faster than you can can the word delivery. These robots are self recharging, i.e. they work round the clock. The robots can carry their packages away to different areas across the sorting center, and deposit them unto underground chutes.

All packages reach their destinations within three and a half hours. We need hundred experienced workers to do the same job at the same time. The robots work across a two thousand square meter area and between them, they generate at least 300 billion route combinations which requires a huge amount of calculations at the back end. The company also has a warehouse in the Chineese city of Hangzhou, where little orange robots do exactly the same work. The link for video showing an army of tiny little yellow robots sorting out packages at STO is provided below.

How to stay optimistic in life?

We often feel alone and life sucks. But do anyone realize why do we feel so?. It all depends on our mindset and our vision of life. If we are positive and optimistic about life, our horizon expands. Our horizon expands in terms of relations and happiness. So, what must we do in order to stay optimistic and stay happy. how to handle the situations when we feel pissed off with life. Here are some ways through which I try to stay positive in my life. I hope these will be helpful to you all also.
1. Create a positive environment
This is the first and foremost thing we have to do in order to stay happy in life. We must avoid saying and listening to negative thoughts. People who are surrounded with persons who discourage them are more likely to become pessimistic. Avoid people who tell you can't do or its impossible to be done. You must try to encourage and motivate people positively and you will definitely find happiness in their achievement.
2.Try to get socialized
Often when we get depressed, we inactivate ourselves from our social life. This is a blunder. We must try to mix with friends around us when we feel depressed because only they can help you to get out of your depression.
3. Recite a mantra within yourself
Choose a good one liner and recite it like a mantra whenever you feel down. One lines like "Be the change you want to see in the world" or "Everything happens for our own good" Or" It's better to lit a candle than curse the darkness" would be helpful.
4.Maintain a Journal.
Try to list out the reasons what are making you feel sad in a book or journal. Try to analyse these reasons and check if they are valid reasons or are they too silly to get yourself deprived of your happiness.
5. Don't define your happiness by your environment
This is most important and the most difficult thing to overcome. We often give the key of our happiness to others hands. If they speak nicely with us, we would be happy, else no. If they praise us, we would be happy. Here we must understand that we are giving the control of our happiness to others which is very foolish. I strongly feel the control of our life must be in our hands only.
6.Exercise daily
Try to mediate or exercise everyday as these will not only keep us fit but also by doing these activities we give time for our self, for the well being our body. To make the world love you, you must first start loving yourself kada!...
7. Try to help others.
When we help others, the smile which we bring on their face gives us euphoria of life. This will boost your positivety. So, figure out what you have and share it with others generously.

MAKE A DIFFERENCE(MAD)

One of the most difficult questions to answer is to define what life is. Everyone of us have our own definition of life. All of us desire to design our life in our own style. Some want to get settled in life as early as possible while others want to enjoy living just at that moment. I was that kind of girl who wanted to seek a job as early as possible and get settled in my life. But as days are passing by I am understanding what life is.
The credit for my realization is my College and my friends. They taught me how to handle my life, my relations and most importantly my mood swings. I started seeing life in a new vision. I understood now that life is not about making a living, it is all about making a DIFFERENCE. Be aware if you are getting caught in the rat race, as I got caught up. You are right if you are not going in the path where 90% of the people are going. You are right if your views are different from others. You are right if you stand out of the crowd. You are defining your life correctly if you are not like the 90%. After all, at the end of the day before we sleep, we must be the reason for someone's smile and that defines life.

Crazy Gift Ideas for Birthdays....

Hey bloggers!.We all give and receive presents on many occasions in our life and we all love to do so. It was my best friend's birthday recently and it was my turn to present a gift. I am writing this post to share my encounters in the process of buying gift to my bae, some turned out as sugar while rest turned out to be salt but all were worth remembering.
As we all know birthdays are inevitable and it happened to be her 20th birthday. All I knew was she like creative, useful and simple presents. I had many ideas as to what to give her. I will list out some of my crazy birthday ideas below.
1. Twin T-shirts for my bestie and me.
2. White board and marker.(as she likes teaching and wants to improve her teaching skills.)
3. Silver ring and a bracelet.
4. Decorate her room with Helium balloons and hang cards at the end of balloons.
5. A creative birthday card.
6. A wallet.
7. A diary (though she doesn't like writing, I felt like giving as I love writing...)
8. Personalised phone case
As I was murkier in my ideas, I couldn't decide as to which gift to give my bestie. Months became weeks and weeks became days but I was still in the same dilemma. It happened to be four days from her birthday and I was still the same. Finally, I brought a personalised charms bracelet for her and wrote some letters and piled them in a bottled and gifted her.

Though I was not satisfied with the gifts I gave her, she turned out to be very happy with my gifts. When I told her how I messed everything due to confusion, she was like its not the gift you  that matters more but its the love with which you give that really matters. At that moment, I felt really blessed to have a friend like her.
So, all of you don't get confused as to what to gift your loving ones. It's not the gifts that matter, it's the love that matters. Your besties will definitely like whatever you give them. Do share the experiences you had when you were buying  gifts for your loving ones in the comments section.
